Strategi Manajemen Konflik Pada Pasangan Remaja Hamil di Luar Nikah

Abstract

This research is a qualitative study to examine conflict management strategies in pregnant couples out of marriage. The purpose of this study was to determine the source of the causes of marital conflict for pregnant couples out of marriage, find out the types of conflicts that occur and find out conflict management strategies for pregnant couples out of marriage. The respondents of this study consisted of 3 pairs of married couples who were married because they were pregnant out of marriage. Respondent I was 22 years old, female. Respondent II is 22 years old male, respondent III is 20 years old female, respondent IV is 21 years old male, respondent V is 21 years old female, and respondent VI is 22 years old male. This study uses a qualitative method, with phenomenology and uses observation and interview methods. The results of this study found that these three pairs have similarities in conflict management strategies, namely avoiding. In the first pair, the source of conflict experienced is financial, communication style, household tasks, and personal tastes. In the second pair, the source of conflict experienced is financial, family, personal taste. In the third pair, the source of conflict experienced is the style of communication and household tasks. The types of conflicts experienced in the first pair are zero sum and motive conflict, basic and non-basic conflict, and inevitable conflict. In the second pair, basic and non-basic conflict, and the third pair have zero sum conflict types.
