dc.description | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara gaji dengan kepuasan kerja, dimana yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah para karyawan yang bekerja di PT. Karya Makmur Mdan yang berjumlah 35 orang. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini, adalah: Ada hubungan positif antara gaji dengan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Dengan asumsi semakin besar gaji maka semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja, demikian sebaliknya semakin kecil gaji semakin rendah kepuasan kerja. Dalam upaya membuktikan hipotesis tersebut digunakan teknik korelasi Product Moment dari Karl Pearson. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: a). Terdapat hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara gaji dengan kepuasan kerja. Artinya semakin tinggi gaji, maka semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja, sebaliknya semakin rendah gaji, maka semakin rendah kepuasan kerja. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,541; sig < 0,010. Dengan demikian maka hipotesis yang diajukan, dinyatakan diterima. b). Gaji memberikan pengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja sebesar 29,3%. Ini berarti masih terdapat 70,7% pengaruh dari faktor lain terhadap kepuasan kerja, diantaranya adalah pendidikan, pengalaman, tanggungan, kemampuan, dan kondisi-kondisi pekerja. Hasil lain yang diperoleh adalah bahwa secara umum para Kepuasan kerja karyawan PT. Karya Makmur tergolong tinggi, sebab nilai rata-rata empirik lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata hipotetk dan selisihnya melebihi bilangan SD | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | This research aims to determine the relationship between salary and job satisfaction, which is the subject of the study are employees who work in PT. Karya Makmur Mdan which amounted to 35 people. The hypotheses proposed in this study are: there is a positive relationship between salary and employee satisfaction. Assuming the bigger the salary then the higher the job satisfaction, thus the smaller the salary the lower the job satisfaction. In an attempt to prove the hypothesis used Product Moment correlation technique from Karl Pearson. Based on the results of the analysis obtained the following results: a). There is a very significant positive relationship between salary and job satisfaction. This means the higher the salary, the higher the job satisfaction, the lower the salary, the lower the job satisfaction. This result is evidenced by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.541; Sig < 0.010. Thus the hypothesis proposed, declared acceptable. b). Salary affects 29.3% of job satisfaction. This means that there are still 70.7% influence over other factors on job satisfaction, including education, experience, dependents, capabilities, and worker conditions. Another result is that in general the work satisfaction of employees of PT. Karya Makmur is relatively high, because the average value of empirical is greater than the average value of the hypoprises and the difference exceeds the number of elementary school. | en_US |
