Abstract

Street kids problem is one of the often occurring problems in big cities. Medan is on of the big cities with the number of street kids more increasing every year. Refer to the Social Service Office data in 2018 about people with social welfare problems are as much as 2,502 people. Based on the data, the street kids show a number of 1,035 people )social Service Office Data:2018). The causes of street kids living on the streets are their family background, economy, and low level of education. Those things cause the street kids being beggar, thug, and bum. Mostly the street kids are the productive age children where should not be on the street. Halfway Hpuse is one the places to accommodate the street kids to carry out the positive activities. Inside the halfway house, they can stop by, stucy, play, develop their talents, got character coaching, and get protection. Futhermore, all activities carried out at the halfway house become a positive a provision for their interest. Thus, the problem occurred is the halfway house in Medan does not have the facilities needed by the street kids.
