Abstract: The purpose of the research is to know the response of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF)pineaple skin (Ananas phyaces (L.) Merr.) As a nutrient and waste compost cabbage (Brassica Oleraceae) on growth and production of Melon plants (Cucumis melo L.). Research conducted in the University of Medan Experiment Garden Area on Jl. PBSI No. 1 Medan Estate with a height of 23 m above sea level. The design used in the study was the group's random Design (RAK) factorial which was of 2 factors. The first factor is the provision of pineapple Peel LOF with 4 levels of treatment of treatment: P0: Without the cutaneous waste LOF pineapple, P1: Pineapple skin wastes 5% (50ml/liters of water), P2: The Waste LOF skin of pineapple 10% (100ml/liters of water), P3: LOF waste leather Pineapple 15% (150ml/liters of water) and the second factor is giving compost waste cabbage with 4 levels of treatment namely: K0: Without compost waste cabbage, K1: compost waste cabbage 5 ton/ha (2 kg/m2), K2: compost waste cabbage 10 tons/ha (4 kg/m2), K3: compost waste of cabbage 15 tons/ha (15 kg/m2). The study was conducted with 2 repeats. The observation parameters are: height of the plant, diameter of the trunk, weight of the plant samples, fruit lilit plant samples, wet bringy weight, and the weight of dry brutity. The results showed that: 1 The provision of LOF waste for pineapple skin has no real effect on all parameters. 2) Administration of compost waste real effect on the plant height with the best treatment K2 (compost waste of cabbage 10 tons/ha (4 kg/m2) and no real effect on other parameters. 3) The results
Description: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui Respon Pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) Kulit Nanas (Ananas comosus (l.) merr.)Sebagai Nutrisi Dan Kompos Limbah Kubis (Brassica oleraceae)Pada Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Melon (Cucumis melo L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Universitas Medan Area di Jl. PBSI No.1 Medan Estate dengan ketinggian 23 m dpl. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang tediri dari 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair Limbah kulit nanas dengan 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu: P0: tanpa POC limbah kulit nanas, P1: POC limbah kulit nanas 5% (50ml/liter air), P2: POC limbah kulit nanas 10% (100ml/liter air), P3: POC limbah kulit nanas 15% (150ml/liter air) dan faktor kedua yaitu pemberian kompos limbah kubis dengan 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu: K0: tanpa kompos limbah kubis, K1: kompos limbah kubis 5 ton/ha (2 kg/m2), K2: kompos limbah kubis 10 ton/ha (4 kg/m2), K3: kompos limbah kubis 15 ton/ha (15 kg/m2). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 2 ulangan. Parameter pengamatan yaitu: tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, berat buah tanaman sampel, lilit buah tanaman sampel, berat brangkasan basah, dan berat brangkasan kering. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pemberian POC limbah kulit nanastidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap seluruh parameter. 2) Pemberian kompos limbah kubis berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dengan perlakuan terbaik K2(kompos limbah kubis 10 ton/ha (4 kg/m2) dan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter lainnya. 3) Hasil analisa
