Persepsi Masyarakat Terhadap Kinerja Kepala Desa Dalam Meningkatkan Pembangunan Desa Titi Merah Kecamatan Limapuluh Kabupaten Batubara

Abstract

Titi Merah village is a village located in the sub-district of fifty coal districts. The concern of the village apparatus in infrastructure development is categorized as less than optimal due to lack of cooperation between the community and the village apparatus. This study aims to determine community perceptions of the performance of village heads in improving development and the factors that influence community perceptions of village head performance. This research uses qualitative methods. The informants of this research are the village head as the key informant, and the village apparatus as the main informant and the community as additional informants. The results of the research show that the performance of village heads in improving good village development has not yet been fully realized, this is seen from the performance of village heads that has not gone well. The community said the village head and village government had not fully realized the performance of the village government as well as good village development. And factors influencing the implementation process of the village head's performance, namely lack of coordination between village officials in responding to problems that occur in the community.
