Studi Perbandingan Unjuk Kerja Mesin Diesel Menggunakan Bahan Bakar Solar Campur Eco Diesel

Abstract

Petroleum (fossil) fuels are increasingly depleting making experts try to find renewable fuel sources (non-fossil) to be used as a substitute for petroleum, but most of them mix fuel with artificial products as a trial to save money. consumption of fuel consumption and to improve engine performance. Eco diesel is one of the products mixed with diesel to improve the quality of diesel fuel so that consumption of fuel oil consumption is more economical and also further increases the power and torque of the engine, in addition to that eco diesel is made from organic materials that are essential oils from vegetable oil ingredients from Indonesia is safe to use for machines and the environment. Tests will be carried out using a dyno chassis (Dynotes) and a mixture of eco diesel with 1:40 diesel variations, namely 1 eco diesel for 40 liters of diesel, 1:30 ie 1 eco diesel for 30 liters of diesel fuel and 1:20 which is 1 eco diesel grains for 20 liters of diesel fuel and then for comparison using testing using only pure diesel fuel. The results of the test are that the increasing use of eco diesel makes fuel consumption more efficient and increases power and torque in the engine.
