Peran Dinas Pasar Kabupaten Deli Serdang Dalam Meningkatkan Kebersihan Pasar Galang

Abstract

Traditional markets are usually attached with a negative impression, which is dirty and messy. Illustration of this possibility will be more obvious if you see what happened to the traditional markets in several cities in Indonesia. Especially when traditional markets should be exposed to competition by the modern market. Issues raised in this research are: (1) Lack of awareness about Market traders Galang in creating hygiene, (2) The role of the Office of Market lacking coordination in the response to the cleanliness, (3) socialization cleaning done less Markets Department received a positive response from the public and traders Galang market. This research uses descriptive method is intended to explain the position of explanatory variables studied and the relationship between one variable with another variable. The research location is on the Office of Market Deli Serdang. From the results of this study show that: the level of awareness of buyers and sellers in the market Galang about hygiene market is still very low, the role of government through the Department Deli Serdang market for hygiene market is as coordinator governing the management of facilities and infrastructure Galang Market hygiene. Efforts by the government in this case through the Department of Market Deli Serdang in handling hygiene Galang market, namely: (1) Provide a waste carrier fleet, (2) Establish Places Waste Disposal (TPS) at the appointed place, (3 ) Hiring officers according to the cleanliness of the place and time specified
