dc.descriptionSkripsi ini berawal dari banyaknya hotel di kota Medan, menimbulkan persaingan dibidang perhotelan. Hal ini membuat Hotel Polonia Medan berusaha untuk mendapatkan kepercayaan publik melalui media. Oleh karena itu penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian, dimana Penelitian ini berjudul Strategi Media Relation Humas dalam Meningkatkan Citra Hotel Polonia Medan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apa saja yang dilakuakan oleh humas hotel polonia medan kepada media untuk meningkatkan citra hotel polonia medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan data wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Humas Hotel Polonia Medan telah melakukan kegiatan Strategi Media Relation dengan baik dan selama berhubungan dengan media ataupun wartawan dijaga dengan baik. Dimata wartawan dan media, citra yang telah dibuat oleh humas hotel polonia medan sudah baik karena humas hotel polonia medan juga dapat memposisikan diri sebagai teman dan rekan kerja.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis thesis starts from the many hotels in the city of Medan, leading to competition in the field of hospitality. This makes Hotel Polonia Medan trying to gain public trust through the media. Therefore, the authors are interested in conducting research, where the research is titled Public Relations Media Strategy in Improving the Image of Polonia Hotels in Medan. The purpose of this research is to find out what is done by Medan Polonia Public Relations to the media to improve the image of Polonia Medan hotel. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data on interviews, observation, and documentation. Public Relations Hotel Polonia Medan has carried out Media Relations Strategy activities well and as long as it is related to the media or journalists are well guarded. In the eyes of journalists and the media, the image that has been made by the public relations of the Polonia Medan hotel has been good because the public relations of the Polonia Medan hotel can also position themselves as friends and colleagues.en_US
