| Abstract: | This study aims to determine the differences in therapeutic communication in nurses in hospitals that are male and female as well as the length of service of nurses. The population of this research is the hospital nurses H. Adam Malik Medan in the inpatient rooms miss A and miss B, amounting to 300 people. The hypothesis that there is a difference in nurses' therapeutic communication in terms of gender and length of service has differences in communication between male nurses and female nurses with the assumption that female nurses are better than male nurses in therapeutic communication and the length of service of older nurses is better than new nurses and there is a difference in therapeutic communication of male nurses with tenure of 0-5 years and 6-10 years assuming male nurses with a tenure of 6-10 years are better at communicating therapeutically with the length of service of male nurses 0-5, years Female nurses with tenure of 0-5 years and 6-10 years with the assumption of female nurses 6-10 years better therapeutic communication than female nurses with tenure of 0-5 years can be different therapeutic communication. The data collection method in this study uses a purposive sampling scale. The research instrument is a therapeutic communication scale. Based on the results of the study, the hypothesis is accepted, that there are differences in nurses' therapeutic communication in terms of gender and length of service. Results as follows: 1. There is a difference in therapeutic communication between male nurses and female nurses, with an average value (mean) where for women are worth 120,028 and men are worth 119,594. 2. For tenure there is a difference with the mean value (mean) where the age of tenure is 116-575 and tenure is more than 5 years worth 123,547. 3. Interaction between sex and working age of female sex 0-5 years 113.46 with a total of 13 people and working age of 5 years with a mean of 126.59 with 37 people in total is 50 people, meanwhile for male sex The working period of 0-5 years with a men value of 118.69 is 32 people and the service period is 5 years with a mean of 120.50 as many as 18 people. |
| Description: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan komunikasi terapeutik pada perawat di rumah sakit yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan serta masa kerja perawat. Populasi penelitian ini adalah perawat rumah sakit H. Adam Malik Medan pada ruangan rawat inap rindu A dan rindu B yang berjumlah 300 orang. Hipotesis yang diajukan bahwa ada perbedaan komunikasi terapeutik perawat ditinjau dari jenis kelamin dan masa kerja memiliki perbedaan komunikasi teraupeutik perawat laki-laki dan perawat perempuan dengan asumsi bahwa perawat perempuan lebih baik dari pada perawat laki-laki dalam berkomunikasi terapeutik dan masa kerja perawat lama lebih baik dari pada perawat baru dan.terdapat perbedaan komunikasi terapeutik perawat laki-laki dengan masa kerja 0-5 tahun dan 6-10 tahun dengan asumsi perawat laki-laki dengan masa kerja 6-10 tahun lebih baik berkomunikasi terapeutik dengan masa kerja perawat lak-laki 0-5, tahun Perawat perempuan terdengan masa kerja 0-5 tahun dan 6-10 tahun dengan asumsi perawat perempuan 6-10 tahun lebih baik komunikasi terapeutik dari pada perawat perempuan dengan masa kerja 0-5 tahun dapat perbedaan komunikasi terapeutik. Metode pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan skala purposive sampling. Instrument penelitian adalah skala komunikasi terapeutik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka hipotesis diterima, bahwa ada perbedaan komunikasi terapeutik perawat ditinjau dari jenis kelamin dan masa kerja. Hasil sebagai berikut : 1. Terdapat adanya perbedaan komunikasi terapeutik antara perawat laki-laki Dan perawat perempuan, dengan nilai rata-rata (mean) dimana untuk perempuan bernilai 120,028 dan laki-laki bernilai 119,594. 2. Untuk masa kerja terdapat perbedaan dengan nilai rata-rata (mean) dimana usia masa kerja 0-5 tahun 116,075 dan masa kerja diatas 5 tahun senilai 123,547. 3. Interaksi antara jenis kelamin dan usia masa kerja jenis kelamin perempuan 0-5 tahun 113,46 dengan jumlah 13 orang dan usia masa kerja 5 tahun dengan mean 126,59 dengan 37 orang total keseluruhan adalah 50 orang, sementara itu untuk jenis kelamin laki-laki masa kerja 0-5 tahun dengan nilai men sebesar 118,69 sebanyak 32 orang dan masa kerja 5 tahun dengan mean 120,50 sebanyak 18 orang. |
