Hubungan Antara Self Efficacy Dengan Kemandirian Belajar Pada Siswa SMA Negeri 4 Padangsidempuan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self efficacy and self-regulated learning in students of SMA Negeri 4 Padangsidimpuan. This research was arranged based on the scale method using self efficacy scale consisting of: level, strength, generality, and the scale of self-regulated learning consists of: emotional independence, behavioral independence, indigo independence. The population in this study consisted of all students of class XI in SMA Negeri 4 Padangsidimpuan which was obtained by 300 students. This research uses incidental samples. Where the size of the sample taken is 25% of the number of students, 75 students. Based on the results of the calculation of Product Moment Correlation Analysis, the results are obtained: (1) there is a significant positive relationship between self efficacy and self-regulated learning, where = 0.475; p = 0,000 <0.010. (2) the data in this study amounted to 22.6%. (3) because the students' self-efficacy is high, because the hypothetical mean score is 75, and the empirical average value is 90.89. As for self-regulated learning, the hypothetical mean value is 72.5 and the average empirical value of 80.77 is high. From the results of this study, the proposed hypothesis is accepted.
