dc.description | This research was conducted in the Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Medan Area, District Percut Sei Tuan with altitude of 22 m above sea level and flat topography and alluvial soil types. The research was conducted from April to September 2019. The method used in this study is a randomized block design (RBD) in factorial, with 2 (two) treatment factors, Namely: 1) Factors pineapple skin liquid organic fertilizer (P), which consists of 4 levels, namely: P0 = no treatment (control); P1 = pineapple peel liquid organic fertilizer with a concentration of 4%; P2= pineapple peel liquid organic fertilizer with a concentration of 8%; P3= pineapple peel liquid organic fertilizer with a concentration of 12%. 2) Factors water hyacinth compost (K) which consists of 4 levels, namely: K0 = = no treatment (control); K1 = compost 10 ton ha-1 (1,08 kg/plot); K2 = compost of 20 ton ha-1(2,16 kg/plot); K3 = compost 30 ton ha-1 (3,24 kg/plot), each treatment was repeated two (2) times so that there are 32 experimental plots. Each experimental plot consisted of 9 plants with 4 plant samples. The parameters observed of : plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, weight of cob with clobot / sample plant, weight of cob without clobot / plant sample, weight of cob with clobot / plot, weight of cob without clobot / plot, weights 1000 seeds / plot. From the research has been carried out can be concluded as follows: 1) the application of pineapple peel liquid organic fertilizer did not significantly affect all parameters studied; 2) The application of water hyacinth compost has a significant effect on plant height and weight of cobs with clobot / plot, but has no significant effect on the number of leaves, stem diameter, weight of cobs with clobot / sample plants, weight of cobs without clobot / sample plants, weight of cobs without clobot / plot , weights 1000 seeds / plot; 3) The combination of the two treatment factors did not significantly affect the growth and production of maize on all parameters studied. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman jagung dengan pemberian pupuk organik cair kulit nanas dan kompos eceng gondok, yang dilaksanakan di Lahan Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area, Jalan Kolam No. 1 Medan Estate, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan dengan ketinggian tempat 22 mdpl, topografi datar dan jenis tanah alluvial. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan April - September 2019. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial, dengan 2 (dua) faktor perlakuan, yakni : 1) Faktor perlakuan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) Kulit Nanas (P) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu : P0 = Tanpa perlakuan (kontrol); P1 = Perlakuan POC kulit nanas dengan konsentrasi 4%; P2 = Perlakuan POC kulit nanas dengan konsentrasi 8%; P3 =Perlakuan POC kulit nanas dengan konsentrasi 12%;2) Faktor perlakuan Kompos eceng Gondok (K) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu : K0 = Tanpa perlakuan (kontrol); K1 = Pupuk kompos 10 ton ha-1 (1,08 kg/plot); K2 = Pupuk kompos 20 ton ha-1(2,16 kg/plot); K3 = Pupuk kompos 30 ton ha-1 (3,24 kg/plot), masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 2 (dua) kali sehingga terdapat 32 plot percobaan. Setiap plot percobaan terdiri dari 9 tanaman dengan 4 tanaman sampel. Parameter yang diamati yaitu : tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, bobot tongkol dengan klobot/tanaman sampel, bobot tongkol tanpa klobot/tanaman sampe, bobot tongkol dengan klobot/plot, bobot tongkol tanpa klobot/plot, bobot 1000 biji/plot. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : 1) Pemberian pupuk organik cair kulit nanas tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter yang diteliti; 2) Pemberian kompos eceng gondokberpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanamandan bobot tongkol dengan klobot/plot, tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap jumlah daun, diameter batang, bobot tongkol dengan klobot/tanaman sampel, bobot tongkol tanpa klobot/tanaman sampe, bobot tongkol tanpa klobot/plot, bobot 1000 biji/plot; 3) Kombinasi kedua faktor perlakuan berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman jagung pada semua parameter yang diteliti. | en_US |
