Abstract: This study aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of information technology and responsibility for employee performance at the LP3I Polytechnic Medan. This research is an associative research, which is a study that states the relationship between two variables. The subjects used in this study were employees of LP3I Polytechnic with a total of 43 employees. Data collection using a questionnaire / questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is a Likert scale and is processed statistically using a statistical test and with the help of SPSS version 25.00 for Windows. Based on the results of this study can be obtained that the information technology variable (X1) and Responsibility (X2) have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees (Y) Polytechnic LP3I. with t test results obtained for information technology variables obtained t count> t table (2.870> 2.021) with a significance level of 0.007 smaller than the alpha value of 0.05 and for the responsibility variable obtained t count value> t table (5.920> 2.021) with a significant level of 0.00 is smaller than the alpha value of 0.05, it can be concluded that the factors (information technology and responsibility) partially affect the performance of Medan LP3I Polytechnic employees. And the F test obtained f count> f table (135.715> 2.84) it can be concluded that the information technology variable (X1) and responsibility (X2) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
