Stress is a condition in the form of a psychological response from the body to pressures both from the environment and from within a person that hinders a person from completing his tasks. While Self Efficacy is the belief and belief that is contained in a person to reach the extent to which a person can complete their tasks, Self Efficacy can also control matters related to hormonal changes and especially in pregnant women who will give birth to their first child. to test empirically the relationship between Self Efficacy and Stress in pregnant women at Dr. Clinic. Jhon N. Tambunan SpOG with the population in this study amounted to 247 and the study sample was 75 pregnant women. The data collection method in this study used a Guttman and Likert scale with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. Based on the results of the analysis with the r Product Moment correlation analysis method, it is known that there is a negative relationship between Self Efficacy and stress, where rxy = -0.476 with a significant p = 0.000 <0.050. This means that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable X and the dependent variable Y is equal to r2 = 0.226 This shows that Self-efficacy contributes to stress by 22.6%. while 77.4% there are other factors that influence stress in pregnant women. Based on the results of the calculation of the hypothetical and empirical mean values, it can be concluded that Self Efficacy is low with a hypothetical value of 57.5 and an empiric of 50.12. Stress is classified as high with a hypothetical value of 16.5 and empiric of 19.51.en_US
