dc.description.abstract | Judul penelitian ini adalah Strategi Komunikasi Guru Dalam Membentuk Kemandirian Dan Meningkatkan Kepercayaan Diri Siswa Di SLB Mutiara Hati Kelurahan Sei Rotan Medan . Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena pentingnya pentingnya membentuk kemandirian dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus seperti siswa tunagrahita yang memiliki keterbelakangan mental sehingga menyebabkan fungsi kecerdasan dan intelektual mereka terganggu membuat mereka sulit untuk menerapkan kemandirian dan kepercayaan diri bagi siswa itu sendiri. Proses komunikasi guru dalam membentuk kemandirian dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa. Guru harus menerapkan strategi komunikasi yang sesuai dengan kondisi siswa tunagrahita. Penelitian ini mengunakan teori S-O-R dan teori Konvergensi. Pengumpulan data peneliti melakukan observasi nonpartisipan terhadap siswa tunagrahita. Peneliti juga melakukan wawancara mendalam kepada masing-masing wali kelas siswa tunagrahita, untuk membenarkan data yang didapat dari observasi dan wawancara dilapangan peneliti juga melakukan wawancara kepada Kepala Sekolah SLB Mutiara Hati. Penelitian ini mengunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif dengan analisis deskiptif. Peneliti menemukan dua strategi komunikasi yang diterapkan guru dalam membentuk kemandirian dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa tunagrahita yaitu komunikasi primer dan komunikasi verbal. The title of this research is Teacher Communication Strategies In Shaping Independence And Increasing Student Self-confidence In SLB Mutiara Hati Sei Rotan Village Medan. This research is motivated because the importance of forming independence and Increasing self-confidence for children with special needs such as mentally retarted student who have mental retardation so that their functions intelligence and intellectual are disrupted making it difficult for them to apply independence and increasing self-confidence for student themselves. The process of teacher communication in shaping independence and increasing student self-confidence. Teachers must apply communication patterns that are appropriate to the conditions of mentally retarded students. This study uses the S-O-R theory and the Convergence theory. Data collection researchers conducted nonparticipant observation of students retarded. The researcher also conducted in-depth interviews with each of the mentally retarded students homeroom teachers to justify the data obtained from observations and interviews in the field researchers also conducted interviews with the Principal of SLB Mutiara Hati. This study uses a qualitative research methodology with descriptive analysis. Researchers found two communication methods applied by teachers in shaping independence and increasing self-confidence the mental retardation of students, namely primary communication and verbal communication. | en_US |
