This study aims to see the differences in social interactions between students who follow and do not participate in student organizations (OSIM) in MAN 1 Medan. This type of research is quantitative. The population of this study were students of class XI MAN 1 Medan, amounting to 461 people. The number of samples in this study were 102 students, including students who took part in student organizations (OSIM) and students who did not join student organizations. The sampling technique uses Quota Sampling. The data collection technique used a Social Interaction Scale of 27 valid items with scale reliability (α = 0.869). The data analysis technique used the Independent Sample T-Test. The results of this study indicate the coefficient of difference t = 2,975 with a significance of p = 0.004 <0.05. With the results of the analysis of the hypothetical mean of 67.5 and the empirical mean of social interaction of students who did not participate in student organizations, it was found that 75.90 was classified as moderate, while the empirical mean of social interaction of students who participated in the organization was valued at 81.25 which was classified as high. These results indicate that the hypothesis proposed by the researcher, namely that there are differences in social interactions between students who follow and do not follow the organization, can be accepted.en_US
