dc.description.abstractDari tahun ke tahun pertumbuhan pengguna sepeda motor di berbagai tempat sangatlah tinggi,hal yang sama terjadi di lingkungan kampus 1 Universitas Medan Area sebagai universitas yang menanamkan asas konservasi mobilitas yang cukup tinggi, dilingkungan kampus seharusnya dapat di tata dengan baik, supaya asas konservasi dapat diterapkan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan ruang parkir dan berapa jumlah ruang parkir yang tersedia serta bagaimana pola penataaan tersebut. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yaitu pencatatan waktu masuk dan keluar kendaraan. Data sekunder yang dipakai luas area parkir, tipe parkir dan kapasitas parkir. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara metode literature,metode Observasi. Hasil dari perhitungan analisa durasi dan kapasitas parkir di Kampus 1 UMA yaitu akumulasi maksimum harian tertinggi sebanyak 394 kendaraan. Rata–rata volume harian kendaraan adalah 811 kendaraan.Indeks parkir kendaraan 59,07 % . Tingkat turn over parkir tertinggi 0.59. Durasi parkir maksimum 459 menit. Hasil perhitungan kebutuhan ruang parkir menggunakan rumus Z, ruang parkir sepeda motor di kampus 1 Universitas Medan Area telah memenuhi kebutuhan ruang parkir sebanyak 565 SRP, sedangkan kapasitas statis saat ini mencapai 1373 SRP. From year to year, the increase of motorcycle users in various places is very high, the same thing happened in the campus environment of the University of Medan Area as a university that implemented the principle of quite high mobility conservation; the campus environment should be well managed so that the principle of conservation can be applied. This study aimed to find out the need for parking and how many parking spaces were available as well as how the arrangement patterns were. The data used were primary, namely recording the time of coming and leaving of vehicle and secondary which were parking area, parking type, and parking capacity. Then, the data collection method was conducted by using the literature method through the observation method. The calculation results of the duration and capacity analysis of parking at Campus I UMA was the highest daily maximum accumulation of 394 vehicles. The average daily volume of vehicles was 811 vehicles. The vehicle parking index was 59.07%. Furthermore, the highest parking turnover rate was 0.59. The maximum parking duration was 459 minutes. Thus, the calculation results of parking space need using the formula Z; motorcycle parking spaces at the campus I of the University of Medan Area had met the parking space need of 565 SRP, while the current static capacity reached 1373 SRP.en_US
