Hubungan Antara Komunikasi Interpersonal Pendeta Dan Fungsi Pelayanan Konseling Pastoral Dengan Kepuasan Jemaat Di Hkbp Uskup Agung Sugiopranoto Medan

Abstract

Every church has a desire for its church to experience healthy growth. HKBP Archbishop Sugiopranoto Medan has been troubled by the satisfaction of his congregation, which can be shown by the absence of members of the congregation to attend services in homes or in the Sunday services held at HKBP Uskup Agung Sugiopranoto Medan, for a long period of months. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between pastor interpersonal communication and pastoral counseling services with congregation satisfaction in HKBP Uskup Agung Sugiopranoto Medan. The research design used in this study is a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all members of the congregation in HKBP Uskup Agung Sugiopranoto Medan as many as 619 people. The sample in this study were 154 people by using random sampling that paid attention to proportions. Data analysis using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis with multiple linear regression. The results of the study found that the majority of respondents stated that the pastor's interpersonal communication was sufficient (41,6%) and the majority of pastoral counseling services were sufficient (38,3%). The chi square test results showed that the p value for the pastor's interpersonal communication variable was 0,000 < 0.005, the p value of the pastoral counseling service variable was 0,000 < 0.005. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between pastor's interpersonal communication and pastoral counseling services with the satisfaction of the congregation at HKBP Uskup Agung Sugiopranoto Medan. It is suggested that HKBP Usukup Agung Sugiopranoto Medan should make efforts to develop human resources in this case improve the performance of pastoral officers

Setiap gereja memiliki keinginan agar gerejanya mengalami pertumbuhan yang sehat. HKBP Uskup Agung Sugiopranoto Medan selama ini bermasalah dalam kepuasan jemaatnya bisa ditunjukkan dari ketidakhadiran anggota jemaat untuk mengikuti ibadah di rumah-rumah ataupun dalam ibadah minggu yang diadakan di gereja HKBP Uskup Agung Sugiopranoto Medan dalam jangka waktu yang lama sampai berbulan-bulan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal pendeta dan pelayanan konseling pastoral dengan kepuasan jemaat di Gereja HKBP Uskup Agung Sugiopranoto Medan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anggota jemaat yang ada di HKBP Uskup Agung Sugiopranoto Medan sebanak 619 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 154 orang dengan menggunakan random sampling yang memperhatikan proporsi. Analisa data menggunakan analisis univariat, bivariat dan multivariat dengan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian didapat mayoritas responden menyatakan komunikasi interpersonal pendeta baik (41,6%) dan pelayanan konseling pastoral mayoritas baik (38,3%). Hasil uji chi square menunjukkan nilai p value untuk variabel komunikasi interpersonal pendeta sebesar 0,000 < 0,005, nilai p value variabel pelayanan konseling pastoral sebesar 0,000 < 0,005. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan komunikasi interpersonal pendeta dan pelayanan konseling pastoral dengan kepuasan jemaat di HKBP Uskup Agung Sugiopranoto Medan. Disarankan HKBP Usukup Agung Sugiopranoto Medan agar lebih mengupayakan pengembangan sumber daya manusia dalam hal ini meningkatkan kinerja petugas pastoral
