dc.description.abstractTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi kerja dan kecerdasan emosional secara bersamaan dengan kinerja karyawaan di PT. Kaltimex Energy Medan. Sampel penelitian diambil melalui teknik total sampling sebesar 83 karyawan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala motivasi kerja, kecerdasan emosional dan kinerja karyawan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi kerja dengan kinerja karyawan, dengan rxy = 0,612 dan p= 0,000 < 0,05 dengan sumbangan efektif 37,4%. 2) ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan kinerja karyawan, dengan rxy = 0,607 dan p 0,000 < 0,05 dengan sumbangan efektif 36,8%. 3) ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi kerja dan kecerdasan emosional dengan kinerja karyawan di PT. Kaltimex Energy Medan, dimana rxy = 0,661 dan p 0,000 < 0,05 dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 43,7%. Hal ini berarti semakin tinggi motivasi kerja dan semakin tinggi kecerdasan emosional karyawan, maka secara signifikan dapat meningkatan kinerja karyawan di perusahaan. Sebaliknya, jika motivasi kerja dan kecerdasan emosional rendah, maka kinerja karyawan akan menurun. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work motivation and emotional intelligence together with the performance of employees at PT. Kaltimex Energy Medan. The research sample was taken through a total sampling technique of 83 employees. The data collection method uses a scale of work motivation, emotional intelligence and employee performance. Data analysis techniques using multiple correlation analysis. Based on the results of the study show that: 1) there is a positive and significant relationship between work motivation and employee performance, with rxy = 0.612 and p = 0,000 <0.05 with an effective contribution of 37.4%. 2) there is a significant positive relationship between emotional intelligence with employee performance, with rxy = 0.607 and p 0.000 <0.05 with an effective contribution of 36.8%. 3) there is a positive and significant relationship between work motivation and emotional intelligence with employee performance at PT. Kaltimex Energy Medan, where rxy = 0.661 and p 0.000 <0.05 with an effective contribution of 43.7%. This means that the higher the work motivation and the higher the emotional intelligence of employees, it can significantly improve employee performance in the company. Conversely, if work motivation and emotional intelligence are low, employee performance will decrease.en_US
