dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konsep diri dan konformitas dengan motivasi belajar siswa SMA PAB Helvetia Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Hubungan konsep diri dengan motivasi belajar siswa, (2) Hubungan konformitas dengan motivasi belajar siswa, (3) Hubungan konsep diri dan konformitas dengan motivasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X dan XI SMA PAB Helvetia Deli Serdang yang berjumlah 262 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 72 orang. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala konsep diri, skala konformitas dan skala motivasi belajar. Analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada hubungan positif signifikan antara konsep diri dengan motivasi belajar yang ditunjukkan oleh koefisien korelasi sebesar R = 0,696 dan p = 0,000; sumbangan efektif X1 ke Y sebesar R2 = 0,484 atau 48.4% (2) ada hubungan positif signifikan antara konformitas dengan motivasi belajar yang ditunjukkan oleh koefisien korelasi sebesar R = 0,754 dan p = 0,000; sumbangan efektif X2 ke Y sebesar R2 = 0,569 atau 56.9% (3) ada hubungan positif signifikan antara konsep diri dan konformitas dengan motivasi belajar yang ditunjukkan oleh koefisien korelasi sebesar R = 0,778 dan p = 0,000; sumbangan efektif secara bersamaan X1 dan X2 ke Y sebesar R2 = 0,605 atau 60.5%. This study aims to the correlation of self concept and conformity with the motivation of studying high school student of PAB Helvetia of Deli Serdang Regency. Hypothesis proposed in this research are: (1) Relation of self concept with student's learning motivation, (2) Conformity relationship with student's learning motivation, (3) Relation of self concept and conformity with student's learning motivation. The type of this research is descriptive correlation. The study population is all students of class X and XI SMA PAB Helvetia Deli Serdang which amounted to 262 people. The sampling technique using random sampling with the number of samples of 72 people. Methods of data collection using self-concept scale, conformity scale and learning motivation scale. Analysis of research data showed that (1) there was a significant positive relationship between self concept and learning motivation shown by correlation coefficient of R = 0.696 and p = 0,000; the effective contribution of X1 to Y is R2 = 0.484 or 48.4% (2) there is a significant positive relationship between conformity with learning motivation shown by correlation coefficient of R = 0.754 and p = 0,000; effective contribution of X2 to Y equal to R2 = 0,569 or 56.9% (3) there is a significant positive relationship between self concept and conformity with learning motivation shown by correlation coefficient of R = 0,778 and p = 0,000; effective contribution simultaneously X1 and X2 to Y of R2 = 0.605 or 60.5%en_US
