Hubungan Self Esteem dengan Kecerdasan Moral di Club Motor RVNC Medan

Abstract

This research purposed on knowing the correlation between self esteem and moral inteligence. The method which was used in this research is quantitative method. The subject of the research is the members of auto club RNVC Medan. The population of this research used total sampling by the member of the subject research that are 30 people. By this hypothesis there is a possitive correlation between self esteem and moral inteligence. It is assumed that if the self esteem is better, so that the moral inteligence will be increased. The collecting of the data used Likert Scale. To test the hypothesis which is purposed, we used Moment Product Correlation Analysist technique. Based on the result of the data’s Analysis, it was found that there is a correlation between self esteem and moral inteligence. The result is known by looking at the value of rxy = 0,820 with p = 0,00 < 0,05, it means there is a connection or relation between self esteem and moral inteligence. So both of the variables have a relation of causes and effect, so the hypothesis which is purposed is accepted. It means the hypothesis which is purposed shows the relation between self esteem and moral inteligence is exist. The average of self esteem empiric = 61,87 and the hypothetic = 48, while on moral inteligence has the average of empiric = 195,87 and the hypothetic = 128.
