Hubungan antara Religiusitas dengan Perilaku Seksual Pranikah pada Remaja

Abstract

This study aims to see the relationship of religiosity with premarital sexual bahavior in adolescents, where the subject of research is a student of SMP Negeri 1 Delitua which amounts to 60 people. The sampling technique uses a Stratifed Sampling Proporsional. In line with the discussion that exists in the theoretical basis, the hypothesis proposed in this study reads: There is a negative relationship between religiosity and premarital sexual behavior, with the assumption that the higher the level of religiosity then premarital sexual behavior is lower, and the lower the level of religiosity then premarital sexual is higher. In an effort to prove the hypothesis, used method analysis of product moment correlation data, where based on data processing, obtained the following results: a). There is a negative relationship between religiosity and premarital sexual behavior in adolescents, where Rxy = -0,582 with significant p = 0.000 < 0,050. It means if the higher the religiosity the lower the premarital sexual behavior. b). In general, the result of this study indicate that the relationship of religiosity with premarital sexual behavior in adolescents is very high where the value of empirical average above the hypoteric average value in the normal curve. The average empirical value of religiosity = 143,00, while the average value of hypothetical = 100, then the average value of empirical premarital sexual behavior =112,65 while the average value of hypothetical = 110.
