Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui: (1) hasil belajar IPS Terpadu siswa kelas VIII yang diajarkan strategi pembelajaran dengan metode inquiri lebih tinggi daripada yang diajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran konvensional; (2) hasil belajar IPS Terpadu siswa kelas VIII yang memiliki kreativitas tingkat tinggi lebih tinggi daripada yang memiliki tingkat kreativitas rendah; dan (3) adanya interaksi antara penggunaan strategi pembelajaran dan kreativitas dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar IPS Terpadu siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 7 Medan yang berjumlah 10 kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan secara acak dengan teknik cluster random sampling, dengan mengambil 2 kelas dengan jumlah tiap kelas sebanyak 32 siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar IPS Terpadu dan tes kreativitas. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah ANAVA Faktorial 2 × 2. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa strategi pembelajaran inkuiri dengan hasil belajar siswa strategi pembelajaran konvensional dengan Fhitung > Ftabel (12,554 > 3,94); (2) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kreativitas tinggi dengan hasil belajar siswa kreativitas rendah dengan Fhitung > Ftabel (10,544 > 3,94); dan (3) ada interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan kreativitas terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan Fhitung > Ftabel (12,847 > 3,94). Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh diharapkan memberikan informasi bagi guru dan sekolah untuk menggunakan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS Terpadu. Selain itu perlu ditingkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran di kelas. This study aimed to determine: (1) the results of Integrated Social learning eighth grade students by the inquiry method of learning strategy and higher than by conventional teaching strategies; (2) the results of the Integrated social studies eighth grade students of high level of creativity is higher than low level of creativity; and (3) the interaction between the use of learning strategies and creativity in influencing learning outcomes Integrated Social eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Medan. The population in this study were all students at Junior High School eighth grade 7 field totaling 10 classes. The samples in this study were randomly assigned to the cluster random sampling technique, by taking 2 classes with the number of each class by 32 students. The research method uses a quasi-experimental. The instrument used in this study is the Integrated Social achievement test and tests of creativity. Analysis of the data used is a 2 factorial ANOVA. Based on the results obtained: (1) there is a difference in student learning outcomes of inquiry teaching strategies with student learning outcomes with conventional learning strategies Fcount > Ftable (12.554 > 3.94); (2) there is a difference in student learning outcomes of high creativity with student learning outcomes with low creativity of Fcount > Ftable (10.544 > 3.94); and (3) there is an interaction between learning strategy and creativity to the learning outcomes of students with Fcount > Ftable (12.847 > 3.94). The results obtained are expected to provide information for teachers and schools to use inquiry learning strategies to improve learning outcomes Integrated Social Science.
