Abstract: This study aims to determine the response of growth and production of shallots to the provision of cow urine and paitan plant compost and the interaction of the two treatment factors. Researchers used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with two treatments, namely: 1) cow urine POC (P) consisting of 4 levels, namely: P0 = without application (control); P1 = concentration 40%; P2 = 60% concentration; P3 = 80% concentration, and 2) paitan plant compost (L) consists of 4 levels, namely: L0 = using ½ dose of mixed N, P, K fertilizer (control); L1 = dose 10 tonnes / ha (1 kg / m2); L2 = dose 15 ton / ha (1.5 kg / m2); L3 = dose 20 tonnes / ha (2 kg / m2); Each treatment was repeated 2 (two) times. The results of this study were: 1) Giving POC cow urine had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers per clump, wet weight of tubers per sample and wet weight of tubers per plot, but had no significant effect on the number of shallot tillers; 2) The application of paitan plant compost had a very significant effect on the number of leaves and the number of tubers per clump, had a significant effect on tuber wet weight per sample and tuber wet weight per plot, but had no significant effect on plant height and number of shallot tillers; and 3) The combination of administration of cow urine POC and paitan plant compost had no significant effect on the growth and production of shallot plants. In subsequent studies, the use of paitan compost could be added to the dosage, because the N, P and K content were low.
