This study aims to determine the response of giving coffee husk compost with different incubation times to the growth and production of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) plants. The research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Medan Area, which is located at Jalan Pond No. 1 Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan District, with a height of 22 meters above sea level (masl), flat topography and alluvial soil type. The study was conducted from November 2019 to January 2020. The method used in this study was a Non-Factoral Randomized Block Design (RAK), with different incubation times and consisting of 12 levels. This study used 3 replications with a total of 36 experimental plots. The experimental plot consisted of 9 plants with 3 sample plants. The parameters observed in this study were stem diameter, number of fruit per sample plant, fruit length per sample plant (cm), fruit weight per sample plant (kg), fruit production per plot (kg). The results obtained from this study are: 1) The treatment of giving coffee skin compost did not significantly affect the growth and production of cucumber plants. 2) The treatment of giving coffee husk compost with different incubation times did not significantly affect the growth and production of cucumber plants.en_US
