dc.description.abstract | Dalam bidang permesinan daya dan putaran memegang peranan yang sangat penting dimana daya dan putaran dari mesin ditransmisikan ke roda-roda mekanisme menimbulkan tenaga dari mesin keroda roda disebut dengan pemindahan tenaga (power train) pemindahan tenaga yang umum digunakan adalah kopling (clutch) kopling berfungsi untuk menghubungkan dan memutuskan daya dan putaran dari mesin ke transmisi. Tujung umum menerapkan ilmu dari perkuliahan dan dapat membangikannya dengan keadaan sebenarnya di lapangan. Membiasakan mahasiswa untuk merancang elemen mesin dan sekaligus untuk memperluas wawasan dalam hal perancangan. Tujuan khusus adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman elemen mesin khususnya kopling dan komponen komponennya. Menguasai sistem penyambungan dan pemutusan putaran dan daya pada kendaraan bermotor.
