dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian bokasi limbah pasar terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman semangka (Citrullus vulgaris L.) dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) air cucian beras terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman semangka (Citrullus vulgaris L.), yang dilaksanakan dikebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area (UMA), yang berlokasi di jalan kolam No.1 Medan Estate Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, dengan ketinggian 22 meter diatas permukaan laut (mdpl), topografi datar, jenis tanah Alluvial dan pH 6,12. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai dari bulan April hingga bulan Juni 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan dua faktor perlakuan, yaitu: 1) Faktor perlakuan bokasi limbah pasar (K) yang terdiri dari 5 taraf, yaitu: k0= Tanpa perlakuan (kontrol); k1= 5 ton/ha (3 kg/m2); k2= 10 ton/ha (6 kg/m2); k3= 15 ton/ha (9 kg/m2); k4= 20 ton/ha (12 kg/m2), dan 2) Faktor Perlakuan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) Air Cucian Beras (P) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu; p0= tanpa perlakuan (kontrol); p1= 20% dari jumlah air yang digunakan; p2= 40% dari jumlah air yang digunakan; p3= 60% dari jumlah air yang digunakan, masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 2 (dua) kali. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini, yakni: panjang tanaman (cm), umur mulai berbunga (hari), jumlah buah per sampel (buah), jumlah buah per plot (buah), bobot buah per sampel (kg), bobot buah per plot (kg), lilit buah per sampel. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini, yakni: 1) pemberian bokasi limbah pasar berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang tanaman, bobot buah per sampel, bobot buah per plot, dan lilit buah per sampel, tetapi tidak berbeda nyata terhadap umur mulai berbunga, jumlah buah per sampel dan jumlah buah per plot tanaman semangka; 2) pemberian POC air cucian beras berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang tanaman, bobot buah per sampel, bobot buah per ploy dan lilit buah per sampel, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap umur mulai berbunga, jumlah buah per sampel dan jumlah buah per plot tanaman semangka; dan 3) kombinasi antara pemberian bokasi limbah pasar dan pupuk organik cair (POC) Air Cucian Beras berpengaruh tidak nyata terhdap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman semangka. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with two treatment factors, namely: 1) Market waste bocation treatment factor (K) consisting of 5 levels, namely: k0 = No treatment (control); k1= 5 tons/ha (3 kg/m2); k2= 10 tons/ha (6 kg/m2); k3= 15 ton/ha (9 kg/m2); k4= 20 tons/ha (12 kg/m2), and 2) Treatment Factor of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) Rice Washing Water (P) which consists of 4 levels, namely; p0= no treatment (control); p1= 20% of the amount of water used; p2= 40% of the amount of water used; p3 = 60% of the amount of water used, each treatment was repeated 2 (two) times. The parameters observed in this study were: plant length (cm), age of flowering (days), number of fruit per sample (fruit), number of fruit per plot (fruit), fruit weight per sample (kg), fruit weight per plot. (kg), fruit wrap per sample. The results obtained from this study, namely: 1) the provision of market waste baskets had a significant effect on plant length, fruit weight per sample, fruit weight per plot, and fruit girth per sample, but did not significantly differ on age from flowering, number of fruit per sample. and the number of fruits per watermelon plot; 2) POC administration of rice washing water had a significant effect on plant length, fruit weight per sample, fruit weight per ploy and fruit girth per sample, but had no significant effect on age at flowering, number of fruit per sample and number of fruit per plot of watermelon plants; and 3) the combination of market waste and liquid organic fertilizer (POC) water washing rice had no significant effect on the growth and production of watermelon plants. | en_US |
