dc.description.abstract | Roda gigi lurus merupakan roda gigi paling dasar dengan jalur gigi yang sejajar poros roda gigi miring mempunyai jalur gigi yang membentuk ulir pada silinder jarak bagi pada roda gigi miring ini, jumlahnya pasangan gigi yang saling membuat kontak serentak adalah lebih besar daripada roda gigi lurus, sehingga perpindahan momen atau putaran melalui gigi tersebut dapat berlangsung dengan halus, sifat ini sangat baik untuk mentransmisikan putaran tinggi dan beban besar.
