dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1) Apakah kepemimpinan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Kota Medan. 2) Apakah pengembangan karir berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Kota Medan. 3) Apakah kepemimpinan dan pengembangan karir secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Kota Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah asosiatif yaitu penelitian yang menghubungkan dua variable atau lebih. Sampel atau responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 183 orang, teknik penarikan sampel yang akan digunakan adalah teknik Random Sampling. Perhitungan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan sampel sebanyak 183 orang dan error level sebesar 0,01 maka sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 65 orang. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Data penelitian bersumber dari data primer dan sekunder, proses pengumpulan data menggunakan pengamatan (observation) dan kuesioner. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil variable kepemimpinan berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kemudian kepemimpinan dan Pengembangan karirsecara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Kota Medan. This study aims to determine : 1) Does leadership affect the performance of employees at the Public Works Office of Medan City. 2) Does career development affect the performance of employees at the Public Works Office of Medan City. 3) Does the leadership and career development simultaneously affect the performance of employees at the Public Works Office of Medan City. This type of research is associative, namely research that connects two or more variables. The sample or respondent in this study amounted to 183 people, the sampling technique used was the random sampling technique. The sample calculation depicts the Slovin formula with a sample of 183 people and an error level of 0,01, so the sample in this study is 65 people. The analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The research data comes from primary and secondary data. The data collection process uses observation and questionnaires. From the research results, it is found that the leadership variable has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance. Career development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Then leadership and career development simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on employee performance at the Public Works Office of Medan City. | en_US |
