Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsep diri dengan komunikasi interpersonal pada siswa kelas XI SMK Swasta Mandiri Medan. Dengan asumsi semakin tinggi konsep diri maka akan semakin tinggi komunikasin interpersonal, dan sebaliknya semakin rendah konsep diri maka akan semakin rendah komunikasi interpersonal. Metode penelitian bersifat kuantitatif. Subjek berjumlah 96 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik quota sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala guttman pada konsep diri terdiri dari 30 aitem dan skala likert pada komunikasi interpersonal terdiri dari 26 aitem. Analisis data menggunakan teknik product moment dengan nilai koefisien rxy = 0,504 dan koefisien determinan (r2) = 0,254 hasil kriteria P = 0,000 < 0,010 signifikan dengan BE% = 25,4%. Hasil perhitungan mean hipotetik dan empirik variabel konsep diri kategori tinggi dan variabel komunikasi interpersonal kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini maka hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis kerja (Ha) diterima. Yaitu ada hubungan positif antara konsep diri dengan komunikasi interpersonal. Artinya semakin tinggi konsep diri maka akan semakin tinggi komunikasi interpersonal. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and interpersonal communication in class XI students of SMK Swasta Mandiri Medan. With the assumption that the higher the self-concept, the higher the interpersonal communication and the lower the self-concept, the lower the interpersonal communication. The research method is quantitative. The subjects were 96 students who were taken by using quota sampling technique. The data collection technique uses the Guttman scale on self-concept consisting of 30 items and a Likert scale for interpersonal communication consisting of 26 items. Data analysis using the product moment technique with the coefficient of rxy = 0.504 and the coefficient of determination (r2) = 0.254 the results of the criteria P = 0.000 <0.010 is significant with BE% = 25.4%. The results of the calculation of the hypothetical and empirical mean variables of high category self-concept and high category of interpersonal communication variables. Based on the results of this study, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. That is, there is a positive relationship between self-concept and interpersonal communication. This means that the higher the self-concept, the higher the interpersonal communication.
