dc.description.abstractTarif sebagai objek vital memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam keberlangsungan sistem transpotasi. Disisi lain tarif juga harus dapat menjembatani kepentingan penumpang selaku konsumen dan pengelola angkutan umum. Seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah penduduk, maka kebutuhan akan sarana transportasi khususnya angkutan bus akan meningkat. Angkutan bus PT Almasar Indonesia dan CV Murni Express merupakan dua dari empat perusahaan angkutan yang melayani trayek Medan-Kabanjahe. Data di dapat dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada pengguna dan juga wawancara kepada pengelola angkutan bus PT.Almasar Indonesia maupun CV Murni Express. Kemudian data di analisis, hasil analisis data untuk mengetahui besarnya Biaya Operasional Kedaraan (BOK) dengan standar Keputusan Kementerian Perhubungan Nomor: KM.89 Tahun 2002. Dan mengetahui tarif berdasarkan Willingness To Pay (WTP). Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa tarif yang diberlakukan di lapangan lebih rendah di bandingkan tarif berdasarkan BOK dan WTPnya. PT Almasar Indonesia menunjukkan tarif berdasarkan BOK Rp. 23.103.3 berdasarkan WTP Rp. 20.633 CV.Murni Express menunjukkan tarif berdasarkan BOK Rp. 19.150,95 berdasarkan WTP Rp. 14.111 . Tariff as a vital object has a very important role in the sustainability of the transportation system. One the other hand, tariffs most also bridge the interests of passengers as costemers and managers of public transport. Along with increasing population, the need for transportation, especially bus transportation will increase. PT Almasar Indonesia and CV Murni Express are two of the four transportation companies serving the Meda-Kabanjehe route. Data obtained by distributing questionnaries to users and also interviews with bus transportation managers of PT Almasar Indonesia and CV Murni Express. Then the data is analyzed, the results of data analysis are to detrermine the amount of Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) with the standard number of the ministry of transportation’s decision.KM. 89 OF 2002. And knowing the rates based on Willingness To Pay (WTP). From the analysis, it is known that the rates applied in the field are lower than the rates based on VOC sand WTP. PT Almasar Indonesia shows the rate based on the VOC of Rp. 23.103,3 based on the WTP Rp. 20.633. CV Murni Express shows a VOC based rate of Rp. 19.150,95 based on WTP Rp. 14.111en_US
