Evaluasi Pertumbuhan Jumlah Lalu LIntas Terhadap Umur Rencana Perkerasan Lentur (Studi Kasus : Jalan Kapten Sumarsono - Helvetia, Medan)

Abstract

This research is motivated by the condition of the Road Pavement in the Medan Helvetia Area where some of it has been damaged. Many factors cause road damage, one of which is the reduced ability of the flexible pavement structure in carrying out its functions in proportion to the increasing age of the pavement and the increase in traffic growth borne from the initial conditions. This is the basic reason for evaluating the growth of traffic volume against the design life of flexible pavement. Jalan Pada Sumarsono – Helvetia. In this paper, it will be seen how far the growth in the number of traffic with the design age of flexible pavement using the 2002 Bina Marga method. The equivalent number of vehicles is calculated and N (ESAL). Percentage of pavement age due to growth which is increasing every year. So it can be concluded how much influence the growth of the amount of traffic on the design age of flexible pavement. In this final project, it can be seen, for example, that traffic growth of 5%, 10%, and 15% affects the percentage of age respectively to (-5.0%) (-10%), and (-3.5%), (-15%). So it can be concluded that the growth of the amount of traffic on the design life of flexible pavement is very influential on reducing the life of flexible pavement. So it is expected that road users need to comply with existing traffic regulations. Medan Helvetia dimana sebagian sudah rusak. Banyak faktor yang menjadi penyebab kerusakan jalan salah satunya adalah berkurang kemampuan struktur perkerasan lentur dalam menjalankan fungsinya sebanding dengan bertambahnya umur perkerasan dan bertambahnya pertumbuhan lalu lintas yang dipikul dari kondisi awal. Hal ini merupakan alasan mendasar untuk mengevaluasi pertumbuhan jumlah lalu lintas terhadap umur rencana perkerasan lentur. Jalan Pada Sumarsono – Helvetia. Pada tulisan ini akan dilihat sejauh mana pertumbuhan jumlah lalu lintas terhadap umur rencana perkerasan lentur dari dengan menggunakan metode Bina Marga 2002. Angka ekivalen kendaraan dihitung dan N (ESAL). Persen umur perkerasan jalan akibat pertumbuhan yang semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan seberapa pengaruh pertumbuhan jumlah lalu lintas terhadap umur rencana perkerasan lentur. Dalam tugas akhir ini dapat dilihat, misalnya dengan pertumbuhan lalu lintas 5 %, 10 %, dan 15 % mempengaruhi persen umur masing-masing menjadi (- 5,0%) (-10%), dan (-3,5%), (-15%). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pertumbuhan jumlah lalu lintas terhadap umur rencana perkerasan lentur sangat berpengaruh terhadap pengurangan umur perkerasan lentur. Sehingga sangat diharapkan para pengguna jalan perlu mematuhi peraturan berlalu lintas yang ada.
