dc.description.abstractJudul penelitian ini adalah Komunikasi Philanthropy Satuan Brigade Mobile Kepolisian Daerah Sumatera Utara Pada Masa Pandemi Virus Corona. Pokok permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana komunikasi filantropi yang dilakukan oleh Sat Brimob Polda Sumut pada masa pandemi dan hambatan yang dialami oleh Sat Brimob Polda Sumut pada masa pandemi. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori kesejahteraan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif, dengan sumber daya yakni data primer (informan penelitian). Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap Sat Brimob Polda Sumut, ditemukan Komunikasi philanthropy yang dilakukan oleh Satuan Brimob Polda Sumut pada masa pandemi melalui beberapa kegiatan yang ditujukan kepada masyarakat seperti : a) melaksanakan himbauan dan penyemprotan untuk mencegah penyebaran Covid di masyarakat, kegiatan melakukan penyemprotan disinfektan ke tempat-tempat umum, b) Yustisi atau operasi untuk menertibkan masyarakat untuk mematuhi protokol kesehatan 5M (Memakai masker, Menjaga jarak, Mencuci tangan, Menghindari kerumunan, dan Mengurangi mobilitas) c) Kegiatan bakti sosial (pembagian masker, pembagian sembako, dapur lapangan), d) Peduli Bencana, kegiatan tersebut yaitu Petugas Brimob Polda Sumut membantu warga mengevakuasi warga korban banjir di beberapa daerah. The title of this research is Philanthropy Communication of the North Sumatra Regional Police Mobile Brigade during the Corona Virus Pandemic. The main problem in this study is how the philanthropic communication carried out by the North Sumatra Police Mobile Brigade Unit during the pandemic and the obstacles experienced by the North Sumatra Police Mobile Brigade Unit during the pandemic. The theory used in this research is social welfare theory. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach, with the resources of primary data (research informants). Collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on research conducted on the North Sumatra Police Mobile Brigade Unit, it was found that philanthropy communication carried out by the North Sumatra Police Mobile Brigade Unit during the pandemic through several activities aimed at the community such as: a) implementing appeals and spraying to prevent the spread of Covid in the community, spraying disinfectant activities to the community. public places, b) Justification or operations to discipline the community to comply with the 5M health protocol (Wearing masks, Keeping distance, Washing hands, Avoiding crowds, and Reducing mobility) c) Social service activities (distribution of masks, distribution of basic necessities, field kitchens) , d) Disaster Care, the activity is the North Sumatra Police Mobile Brigade Officer helping residents evacuate flood victims in several areas.en_US
