dc.description.abstract | Turbin merupakan komponen yang terpenting dalam Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikrohidro (PLTMH). Turbin yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah turbin Archimedes screw dan Francis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan kinerja antara turbin Archimedes screw dan Francis dengan parameter-parameter yang berpengaruh pada kinerja kedua turbin salah satunya yaitu pengaruh tekanan air. Pada penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai pengaruh tekanan air terhadap putaran yang dihasilkan oleh turbin Archimedes screw dan Francis sehingga dapat dilihat tegangan, arus, daya yang dihasilkan oleh generator, torsi dan efisiensi pada PLTMH. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Tekanan air yang diberikan Pada turbin francis yang berada di PLTMH kombih 1 kab. Pak-pak barat dan pada turbin archimedes screw yaitu sebesar 2 psi, 4 psi, 15 psi dan 24 psi. Efisiensi tertinggi pada turbin Francis di PLTMH Kombih Kab. Pakpak Bharat terjadi pada saat tekanan air 24 psi yaitu sebesar 95% dan efisiensi terendah pada saat tekanan air 2 psi yaitu sebesar 81%. Sedangkan efisiensi tertinggi pada turbin Archimedes terjadi pada tekanan air 24 psi yaitu sebesar 92% dan efisiensi terendah terjadi pada tekanan air 2 psi yaitu sebesar 80%. Daya yang tertinggi dihasilkan oleh generator pada turbin Francis di PLTMH Kombih Kab. Pakpak Bharat yaitu saat tekanan air sebesar 24 psi yang menghasilkan daya sebesar 730 KW dan daya terendah dihasilkan pada saat tekanan 2 psi yaitu sebesar 155 KW . Daya yang tertinggi dihasilkan oleh generator pada turbin Archimedes yaitu saat tekanan air sebesar 24 psi yang menghasilkan daya sebesar 62.9 KW dan daya terendah dihasilkan pada saat tekanan 2 psi yaitu sebesar 21 KW. The turbine is the most important component in a Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH). The turbines used in this study were Archimedes screw and Francis turbines. This study aims to determine the performance comparison between Archimedes screw and Francis turbines with the parameters that affect the performance of the two turbines, one of which is the effect of water pressure. This research will discuss about the effect of water pressure on the rotation produced by the Archimedes screw and Francis turbines so that it can be seen the voltage, current, power generated by the generator, torque and efficiency at MHP. The results showed that the water pressure given to the French turbine in PLTMH Kombih 1 district. Western packs and the archimedes screw turbine are 2 psi, 4 psi, 15 psi and 24 psi. The highest efficiency in the Francis turbine at PLTMH Kombih Kab. Pakpak Bharat occurs when the water pressure is 24 psi which is 95% and the lowest efficiency is when the water pressure is 2 psi which is 81%. While the highest efficiency in the Archimedes turbine occurred at 24 psi water pressure, which was 92% and the lowest efficiency occurred at 2 psi water pressure, which was 80%. The highest power generated by the generator on the Francis turbine at PLTMH Kombih Kab. Pakpak Bharat, namely when the water pressure is 24 psi which produces a power of 730 KW and the lowest power is generated when the pressure is 2 psi which is 155 KW. The highest power generated by the generator on the Archimedes turbine is when the water pressure is 24 psi which produces 62.9 KW of power and the lowest power is generated when the pressure is 2 psi which is 21 KW. | en_US |
