Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan stress kerja dengan komitmen organisasi karyawan pada PT. Antlantik Internasional Akses Medan. Komitmen organisasional adalah keinginan karyawan terhadap organisasi, yang tercermin dari keterlibatannya yang tinggi untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Tinggi rendahnya komitmen organisasi dapat dapat dilihat dari skala komitmen organisasi yang disusun peneliti berdasarkan aspek-aspek komitmen organisasi yaitu Affective comitment, Comitment Continuance dan Normative Comitment. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan negatif antara stress kerja dengan komitmen organisasi. Subjek penelitian yang diambil sebanyak 75 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala stress kerja dan skala komitmen organisasi dengan menggunakan bentuk skala Likert. Pengolahan data penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik Korelasi Product Moment dari Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya korelasi sebesar 0,572 dengan p < 0,007, hal ini berarti ada korelasi negatif yang signifikan antara stress kerja dengan komitmen organisasi karyawan PT. Antlantik Internasional Akses Medan. Hal ini berarti semakin tinggi stress kerja, maka semakin rendah komitmen organisasi, sebaliknya semakin rendah stress kerja, maka semakin tinggi komitmen organisasi. Adapun koefisien determinasi dari korelasi tersebut adalah sebesar R²= 0,427 artinya stress kerja memberikan sumbangan efektif terhadap komitmen organisasi sebesar 42,7% sedangkan sisanya (57,3%) ditentukan oleh faktor lain dalam penelitian ini yang tidak diteliti diantaranya keadilan dan kepuasan kerja, beban kerja, pemahaman organisasi, keterlibatan karyawan, kepercayaan karyawan, personal, situasional dan posisional. This study aims to determine the relationship between job stress and organizational commitment of employees of PT. International Atlantic Medan Access. Organizational commitment is the desire of employees to the organization, which is reflected in their high involvement in achieving organizational goals. The level of organizational commitment can be seen from the scale of organizational commitment compiled by researchers based on aspects of organizational commitment, namely Affective commitment, Comitment Continuance and Normative Comitment. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a negative relationship between job stress and organizational commitment. The research subjects taken were 75 people. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used is the work stress scale and organizational commitment scale using a Likert scale. The data processing of this research uses the Product Moment Correlation technique from Pearson. The results showed a correlation of 0.572 with p < 0.007, this means that there is a significant negative correlation between work stress and organizational commitment of employees of PT. International Atlantic Medan Access. This means that the higher the work stress, the lower the organizational commitment, conversely the lower the work stress, the higher the organizational commitment. The coefficient of determination of the correlation is R² = 0.427, meaning that work stress contributes effectively to organizational commitment by 42.7% while the rest (57.3%) is determined by other factors in this study that were not examined including fairness and job satisfaction, workload work, organizational understanding, employee involvement, employee trust, personal, situational and positional.
