Keanekaragaman Ikan Air Tawar di Sungai Soraya Kecamatan Sultan Daulat, Subulussalam, Aceh

Abstract

Sungai Soraya adalah nama lain dari sungai Alas-Singkil yang melewati 3 kabupaten dan satu kota, salah satunya kota Subulussalam tepatnya di Kecamatan Sultan Daulat. Penelitian berjudul “Keanekaragaman Ikan Air Tawar Di Sungai Soraya, Kecamatan Sultan Daulat, Subulussalam, Aceh”. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui indeks keanekaragaman jenis ikan di Sungai Soraya dan jenis ikan yang mendominasi dan juga untuk mengetahui kualitas fisik dan kemis dari Sungai Soraya Kecamatan Sultan Daulat, Kota Subulussalam, Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan eksplorasi dengan metode survey, untuk penetapan stasiun pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling, yaitu penetapan stasiun berdasarkan kondisi daerah aliran sungai dari hulu sampai hilir sungai. Sampel ikan dikoleksi dengan menggunakan alat pancing, jala, bubu, dan jaring. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa di sungai Soraya, Kecamatan Sultan Daulat, Kota Subulussalam, Aceh memiliki nilai indeks keanekaragaman tergolong sedang yakni sebesar 2,455 (H’) yang terbagi kedalam 14 spesies, 6 famili dan total individu 117. Ikan yang mendominasi di sungai Soraya adalah ikan Osteochilus vittatus (Ikan seleng) dengan nilai 52.82% (IRI). The Soraya River is another name for the Alas-Singkil river which passes through 3 districts and one city, one of which is the city of Subulussalam, to be precise, in Sultan Daulat District. This study aims to determine the diversity index of fish species in the Soraya River and the types of fish that dominate and also to determine the physical and chemical quality of the Soraya River, Sultan Daulat District, Subulussalam City, Aceh. This study used an exploration design with a survey method, to determine the sampling station with purposive sampling, namely the determination of stations based on the conditions of the watershed from upstream to downstream. Fish sampels were collected using fishing rods, nets, traps, and nets. The results of this study indicate that in the Soraya river, Sultan Daulat District, Subulussalam City, Aceh has a moderate diversity index value, namely 2.455 (H ') which is divided into 14 species, 6 families and a total of 117 individuals.The fish that dominate the Soraya river are fish Osteochilus vittatus (fish seleng) with a value of 52.82% (IRI).
