dc.description.abstract | Travel Odan merupakan salah satu layanan jasa open trip penyeberangan ke Pulau Salah Namo dan Pulau Pandang yang memanfaatkan media sosial Instagram sebagai media promosi. Diadakannya promosi Pulau Salah Namo dan Pulau Pandang karena minimnya pengunjung pulau tersebut. Padahal kedua destinasi ini merupakan potensi besar yang dapat dikembangkan oleh masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana akun @travel_odan dalam pemanfaatan Instagram sebagai media promosi, dan untuk mengetahui peran akun @travel_odan dalam meningkatkan minat pengunnjung pulau di Kabupaten Batu Bara. Adapun metode penelitian yang peneliti gunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan akun Instagram melalui akun @tavel_odan sudah menerapkan teori three diamon rule yaitu dengan memperhatikan konten, konsisten, dan komunitas. Pemanfaatan yang dilakukan Travel Odan pada media sosial Instagram dengan memanfaatkan fitur dan aktivitas seperti hashtag, captions, geotag, followers, mentions, dan like. Odan Travel is one of theservices open trip crossingto Salah Namo Island and Pandang Island that uses Instagram as a promotional media. The promotion of Salah Namo Island and Pandang Island was held due to the lack of visitors to the island. Even though these two destinations are great potentials that can be developed by the surrounding community. This study aims to find out how the @travel_odan account uses Instagram as a promotional media, and to find out the role of the @travel_odan account in increasing the interest of island visitors in Batu Bara Regency. The research method that researchers use is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the use ofaccounts Instagram through the @tavel_odan account has applied the theory of the three diamond rule, namely by paying attention to content, consistency, and community. Utilization made by Travel Odan onsocial media Instagram by utilizing features and activities such as hashtags, captions, geotags, followers, mentions, and likes. | en_US |
