Hubungan Self Efficacy Dengan Penyesuaian Diri Pada Siswa Kelas X Di Sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara Self efficacy dengan penyesuaian diri pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi. Penyesuaian diri adalah kemampuan individu dalam menghadapi perubahan yang terjadi dalam hidupnya, untuk mempertemukan tuntutan dan lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling dimana peneliti mengambil seluruh anggota populasi sebagai responden atau sampel. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi yang berjumlah 100 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui dua skala yaitu skala Penyesuian diri dengan Skala Self efficacy. Skala penyesuaian diri terdiri dari 36 aitem, dengan nilai reabilitas sebesar 0,866, skala self efficacy terdiri dari 36 aitem dengan nilai reailitas sebesar 0,882. untuk melalukan analisi data digunakan analisis product moment. Berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi product moment ditemukan bahwa ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara self efficacy dengan penyesuian diri dengan rxy = 0,577 dengan P < 0,05. Siswa yang memiliki self efficacy yang tinggi akan memiliki kemampuan penyesuaian diri yang lebih baik. Demikian sebaliknya siswa yang memiliki penyesuaian diri yang kurang baik. Self efficacy memberikan konstribusi sebesar 33,3% terhadap penyesuaian diri siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi. This study aims to determine the relationship between self efficacy and self adjustment in class X SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi. Adaptation is an indidual’s ability to face changes that occur in his life, to meet demands and the enivironment. The research method used is quantitative research methods using a total sampling tecnique where the researcher takes all members of the population as respondents or samples. The subjects of this study were 100 students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi. The data collected through two scales, namely the self adjustment scale with the self efficacy scale. the self adjusment scale consists of 36 aitems, with a reliability value of 0,866, the self efficacy scale consisting of 36 aitems with a reliability value 0f 0.882. to perform data analysis, product moment analysis is used. Based on the results of the product moment correlation analysis, it was found that there was a significant positive relationship between self efficacy and self adjustment with rxy= 0.577 with P<0,05. Students who have high self efficacy will have better adjusment abilities conversely, students who have poor self adjusment. Self efficacy contributed 33.3% to the adjusment of class X SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi.
