Beban kerja memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 51%. Mean empiric variabel beban kerja yang diperoleh yaitu 77,5 sedangkan mean empiric variabel stres kerja sebesar 75 lalu untuk mean hipotetik variabel beban kerja sebesar 90,23 dan mean hipotetik variabel stres kerja sebesar 97,15, kedua variabel dinyatakan tergolong dalam kategori tinggi. This research aims toJob stres is a feeling of pressure experienced by employees in dealing with work, which arises when there is a gap between individual abilities and the demands of their work, whileWorkload is a number of activities that must be completed by an organizational unit or position holder within a certain period of time and is the product of the work volume and the time norm. The population of this study were 52 emergency room nurses and the research sample was 52 people who were taken with the total sampling method of sampling technique. This study uses two psychological scales, namely the workload scale and the work stres scale using a Likert scale model. The results of this study indicate the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.71 with p = 0.000 (p <0.050), meaning that there is a positive relationship between workload and work stres. With these results, the hypothesis in this study that there is a positive relationship between workload and work stres is acceptable. The positive correlation coefficient value indicates that the direction of the relationship between the two variables is positive. Workload provides an effective contribution of 51%. The empirical mean of the workload variable obtained is 77,5 while the empirical mean of the work stres variable is 75. The hypothetical mean of the workload variable is 90.23 and the hypothetical mean of the work stres variable is 97.15, both variables are declared to be in the high category.en_US
