Abstract: Salah satu unit yang paling penting digunakan dalam proses memproduksi uap adalah ketel uap, ketel uap merupakan bejana tertutup yang terbuat dari baja serta beberapa komponen pendukung lainnya. Ketel uap menghasilkan panas pada proses pembakaran bahan bakar cangkang dan fiber dengan perbandingan 1:3 menghasilkan nilai kalor sebesar 20273,346 kj/jam. Dari penelitian diperoleh hasil penurunan laju perpindahan panas dari titik nyala api 600 800 dan 1,000 . Perpindahan panas pada suhu ruang bakar 1,0. mengaliri panas ke lapisan terluar sebesar 23.618 , pada suhu ruang bakar mengaliri panas sebesar 25.12 dan pada ruang bakar 600.megaliri panas sebesar 26.218 . One of the most important units used in the manufacturing process steam is a steam boiler, a steam boiler is a closed vessel made of steel as well as several other supporting components. The steam boiler generates heat at the process of burning shell and fiber fuel with a ratio of 1:3 produces a calorific value of 20273.346 kJ/hour. From the research obtained the result of a decrease in the rate of heat transfer from a flash point of 600 to 800 and 1,000 . Heat transfer at a combustion chamber temperature of 1.0. pouring heat into the outermost layer of 23,618, at the temperature of the combustion chamber flows heat of 25.12 and in the combustion chamber of 600. the heat is 26,218 .
