Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kecipir akibat pemberian pupuk hijau Azolla microphylla dan kompos batang pisang yang telah dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area Jalan PBSI No.1 Medan Estate, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan mulai dari bulan Juli sampai bulan November 2020. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor perlakuan. Faktor pertama adalah pemberian Pupuk Hijau Azolla michropylla dengan notasi (A) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu : A0 = kontrol (tanpa perlakuan); A1 = 5 ton/ha; A2 = 10 ton/ha; A3 = 15 ton/ha dan faktor kedua yaitu pemberian kompos batang pisang dengan notasi (K) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu : K0 = kontrol (tanpa perlakuan); K1 = 5 ton/ha; K2 = 10 ton/ha; K3 = 15 ton/ha. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 2 ulangan. Parameter yang diamati yaitu diameter batang, luas daun, jumlah polong persampel, panjang polong persampel, bobot polong persampel, bobot polong perplot. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) pemberian pupuk hijau Azolla microphylla berpengaruh nyata terhadap diameter batang, luas daun, jumlah polong tanaman sampel, bobot polong tanaman sampel dan bobot polong perplot, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang polong tanaman sampel, 2) Pemberian kompos batang pisang berpengaruh nyata terhadap diameter batang, luas daun, jumlah polong tanaman sampel, bobot polong tanaman sampel dan bobot polong perplot, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang polong tanaman sampel, 3) Kombinasi antara pupuk hijau Azolla microphylla dengan pupuk kompos batang pisang tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kecipir. This research aims to know the response to growth and production of winged bean plants due to the application of green manure Azolla microphylla and banana stem compost which has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture the University of Medan Area Jl. PBSI No.1 Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan District from July to November November 2020. The design used in this study was a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of 2 treatment factors. The first factor is the application of Azolla michropylla Green Fertilizer with the notation (A) consisting of 4 levels of treatment, namely: A0 = control (without treatment); A1 = 5 tons/ha; A2 = 10 tons/ha; A3 = 15 tons/ha and the second factor is the provision of banana stem compost with the notation (K) consisting of 4 levels of treatment, namely: K0 = control (without treatment); K1 = 5 tons/ha; K2 = 10 tons/ha; K3 = 15 tons/ha. This research was conducted with 2 replications. Parameters observed were stem diameter, leaf area, number of pods per sample, length of pod per sample, weight of pod per sample, weight of pod per plot. The results of this study showed that 1) green manure application of Azolla microphylla had a significant effect on stem diameter, leaf area, number of sample plant pods, pod weight of sample plants and pod weight per plot, but had no significant effect on pod length of sample plants, 2) The application of banana stem compost had a significant effect on stem diameter, leaf area, number of sample plant pods, pod weight of sample plants and pod weight per plot, but did not significantly affect the length of sample plant pods, 3) Combination of Azolla microphylla green manure with compost banana stems had no significant effect on increasing the growth and production of winged bean plants |
