Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat adanya hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dengan kinerja karyawan PT.Pos indonesia (persero) Medan.jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 75 karyawan.teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampel.sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 54 orang karyawan PT.pos indonesia (persero) Medan, Sejalan dengan pembahasan yang ada dalam landasan teori, maka hipotesis yang di ajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ada hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dengan kinerja karyawan PT.pos indonesia (persero) Medan, dengan asumsi semakin tinggi gaya kepemimpinan demokratis maka semakin tinggi kinerja karyawan, begitu juga untuk sebaliknya, semakin rendah gaya kepemimpinan demokratis maka semakin rendah kinerja karyawan.penelitian ini menggunakan skala gaya kepemimpinan demokratis yang teridiri dari Aspek-aspek gaya kepemimpinan demokratis oleh kartono pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert, dan data kinerja PT. Pos Indonesia (persero) Medan.hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan dan positif variabel gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dan variabel kinerja karyawan 25 % yang terbilang cukup berpengaruh.berdasarkan hasil uji statistik menggunakan teknik analisis Pearson Product Moment, diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi (rhit) sebesar 0,506 ; p = 0,000 (p < 0,05). Sehingga nilai rhit > rtab (0,506> 0,256) yang menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dengan kinerja karyawan PT.Pos indonesia medan. Kekuatan hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dengan kinerja karyawan tergolong cukup.dengan demikian maka hipotesis yang telah di ajukan dalam penelitian ini dinyatakan di terima. This study aims to determine the relationship between democratic leadership style and the performance of employees of PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) Medan. This research is a quantitative research. The study population was 75 employees. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. The sample of this study was 54 employees of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Medan. In line with the discussion on the theoretical basis, the hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a relationship between democratic leadership style and the performance of employees of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero). Medan, with the assumption that the higher the leadership style, the higher the employee's performance, and vice versa, the lower the leadership style, the lower the employee's performance. This study uses a democratic leadership style which consists of aspects of leadership style by Kartono, a scale of leadership style data using a Likert scale, and performance data of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Medan. The results showed that there was a significant relationship and a positive variable of leadership style and 25% of employee performance variables were quite influential. Based on the results of statistical tests using Pearson Product Moment analysis techniques, the correlation coefficient (rhit) was 0.506. ; p = 0.000 (p <0.05). So that the value of rhit> rtab (0.506> 0.256) which indicates that there is a positive relationship between democratic leadership style and the performance of PT.Pos Indonesia Medan employees. The strength of the relationship between democratic leadership style and employee performance is sufficient. Thus, the hypothesis that has been proposed in this study is accepted. |
