dc.description.abstract | Banjir adalah masalah yang sering terjadi di Medan, bisa terjadi karena curah hujan yang tinggi dan saluran drainase yang tidak bisa menampung air limpasan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kawasan Mall Centre Point Kecamatan Medan Timur. Data yang dibutuhkan adalah curah hujan, panjang saluran drainase, dimensi saluran drainase, area tangkapan air, dan ketinggian lokasi. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah Microsoft Excel dan Google Earth. Dalam perhitungan, beberapa metode digunakan seperti Metode Rasional, rumus empiris kirpich, dan rumus Manning. Hasilnya saluran drainase yang tidak memenuhi syarat ada 2 jalan, untuk jalan jawa debit kapasitas (Q) 3,62 m3 / detik, sedangkan aliran puncak banjir (Qp) 4,19 m3/ dtk dan jalan tembakau deli debit kapasitasnya 2,88 m3/detik, sedangkan aliran debit banjir (Qp) 3,19 m3/detik. Dari hasilnya, itu dapat diprediksi bahwa sistem drainase yang ada tidak dapat menampung puncak banjir. Tindakan yang bisa diambil untuk mengendalikan banjir adalah memperdalam saluran dengan mengubah dimensinya menjadi h = 1,1 m untuk jalan jawa, sedangkan h = 1,21 m untuk jalan tembakau deli sehingga saluran dapat menampung aliran untuk jalan jawa debit rencana nya 4,35 m3/ detik dan untuk jalan tembakau deli debit rencana nya 3,37 m3/detik memenuhi syarat.Selain itu, perencanaan ulang sistem drainase dan pemeliharaan yang baik mungkin merupakan solusi untuk banjir yang sering terjadi. Flooding is a problem that often occurs in Medan, it can occur due to high rainfall and drainage channels that cannot accommodate runoff water. This research was conducted at Center Point Mall area, Medan Timur District. The data needed were rainfall, drainage channel length, drainage channel dimensions, water catchment area, and location elevation. The software used was Microsoft Excel and Google Earth. In the calculation, several methods were used such as the Rational Method, Kirpich empirical formula, and Manning's formula. As a result, 2 drainage channels did not meet the requirements, for Jalan Jawa with a capacity discharge (Q) of 3.62 m3/second, while the peak flood flow (Qp) was 4.19 m3/second and Jalan Tembakau Deli with a capacity discharge of 2.88 m3/second, while the flood discharge flow (Qp) was 3.19 m3/second. From the results, it was able to be predicted that the existing drainage system cannot accommodate the peak flood. Actions that could be taken to control flooding were to deepen the channel by changing its dimensions to h = 1.1 m for Jalan Jawa, while h = 1.21 m for Jalan Tembakau Deli so that the channel could accommodate the flow; for Jalan Jawa, the planned discharge was 4.35 m3/second and for Jalan Tembakau Deli was 3.37 m3/second. In addition, redesigning the drainage system and good maintenance may be a solution for frequent flooding. | en_US |
