dc.description.abstract | Jalan merupakan prasarana darat yang memegang peranan sangat penting dalam sektor transportasi dan menunjang pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat. Salah satunya ruas tol Medan-Binjai, salah satu ruas jalan yang mendapat perhatian dalam hal peningkatan infrastruktur untuk mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi dan masyarakat di wilayah tersebut. Untuk itu jalan tol Medan-Binjai harus didesain cukup kuat untuk menahan beban lalu lintas sehingga dapat berfungsi lebih optimal dan tahan lama sesuai umur rencana. Metode yang digunakan untuk merancang tebal perkerasan yang dapat menahan beban lalu lintas adalah dengan menggunakan metode perkerasan kaku, Manual Desain Perkerasan Jalan Nomor 02/M/BM/2013 dan metode AASHTO 1993. Pembangunan jalan tol Medan-Binjai merupakan jalan nasional, panjang proyek jalan tol Medan-Binjai 16,8 km dengan 1 lajur masing-masing 2 x 7,20 m. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode Manual Desain Perkerasan Jalan Nomor 02/M/BM/2013 diperoleh tebal perkerasan kaku sebesar 30,5 cm, sedangkan perencana dengan menggunakan metode AASHTOO 1993 diperoleh tebal perkerasan kaku sebesar 27 cm. Roads are land infrastructure that plays a very important role in the transportation sector and supports community economic growth. One of them is the Medan-Binjai toll road, one of the roads that has received attention in terms of improving infrastructure to support economic and community growth in the region. For this reason, the Medan-Binjai toll road must be designed to be strong enough to withstand traffic loads so that it can function more optimally and last longer according to the planned life. The method used to design a pavement thickness that can withstand traffic loads is to use the rigid pavement method, the Road Pavement Design Manual Number 02/M/BM/2013 and the 1993 AASHTO method. The construction of the Medan-Binjai toll road is a national road, the length of the road project Medan-Binjai toll road is 16.8 km with 1 lane of 2 x 7.20 m each. The results of the analysis obtained using the Road Pavement Design Manual method Number 02/M/BM/2013 obtained a rigid pavement thickness of 30 cm, while the planner using the 1993 AASHTOO method obtained a rigid pavement thickness of 27 cm. | en_US |
