Hubungan Antara Perubahan Fisik Dengan Kecemasan Pada Wanita Usia Madya Di Kecamatan Medan Selayang Kelurahan Sempakata

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris dan mengetahui Hubungan Antara Perubahan Fisik Dengan Kecemasan Pada Wanita Usia Madya Di Kecamatan Medan Selayang Kelurahan Sempakata. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian korelasional merupakan penelitian yang memiliki kegunaan untuk mencari hubungan antar dua variable. Populasi dan sampel menggunakan Teknik total sampling.Kecemasan dalam penelitian ini diukur berdasarkan aspek sebagai penanda kecemasan menurut Nevid (2003) membagi dalam tiga aspek yaitu Aspek fisik, Aspek Kognitif, Aspek Perilaku. Perubahan fisik dalam penelitian ini diukur dari aspek perubahan fisik yang terpenting pada orang berusia madya menurut Hurlock (2011): Perubahan dalam Penampilan, Perubahan dalam Kemampuan Indera Perubahan, Perubahan pada Keberfungsian Fisiologis, dan Perubahan pada Kesehatan Perubahan seksual. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan metode analisis korelasi r Product Moment, diketahui bahwa a ada hubungan positif antara perubahan fisik dengan kecemasan pada usia madya, dimana rxy = 0,402 dengan signifikan p = 0.000 < 0,050. Dengan asumsi, semakin positif perubahan fisik maka kecemasan semakin rendah dan sebaliknya semakin negatif perubahan fisik maka semakin tinggi kecemasannya. Artinya hipotesis yang diajukan diterima. Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas X dengan variabel terikat Y adalah sebesar r2 = 0,161 Ini menunjukkan bahwa perubahan fisik berkontribusi terhadap kecemasan sebesar 16,1%. Ada 83,9 % faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kecemasan lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sosial serta faktor fisik. This study aims to empirically test and determine the correlation between physical changes and anxiety in middle-aged women in Medan Selayang Subdistrict, Sempakata Village. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative approach. Correlational research is research that has a purpose to find the relationship between two variables. The population and sample used total sampling technique. Anxiety in this study was measured based on aspects as a marker of anxiety according to Nevid (2003) divided into three aspects, namely physical aspects, cognitive aspects, and behavioral aspects. Physical changes in this study were measured from the most important aspects of physical changes in middle-aged people according to Hurlock (2011): Changes in Appearance, Changes in Changes in Sense Ability, Changes in Physiological Functioning, and Changes in Health Sexual Changes. Based on the results of the analysis using the Product Moment r correlation analysis method, it is known that there is a positive relationship between physical changes and anxiety at middle age, where rxy = 0.402 with a significant p = 0.000 < 0.050. Assuming, the more positive the physical changes, the lower the anxiety and conversely the more negative the physical changes, the higher the anxiety. This means that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable X and the dependent variable Y is r2 = 0.161. This indicates that physical changes contribute to anxiety by 16.1%. There are 83.9% other factors that affect the anxiety of the family environment, social environment and physical factors.
