Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara pola asuh otoriter dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa yayasan madrasah islamiyah medan. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah terdapat hubungan positif antara pola asuh otoriter dengan prokrastinasi akademik siswa yayasan madrasah islamiyah medan. penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional yang Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 70 siswa yang berada di yayasan madrasah islamiyah medan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Metode pengupulan data yang digunakan adalah skal pola asuh otoriter dan skal prokrastinasi akademik. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi r produk momen, dengan nilai F=23,346dengan signifikanp=0,000<0,05. Pola asuh otoriter memberikan kontribusi terhadap prokrastinasi akademik sebesar𝑟2=0,281 (28,1%).pola asuh otoriter siswa di yayasan madrasah islamiyah medan tergolong rendah diketahui dari mean hipotetik(70)>mean empirik(62,43)serta prokrastinasi akademik tergolong tinggidiketahui dengan mean hipotetik (70)< mean empirik (79,53). This study aims to see the relationship between parenting styles and academic procrastination in students of the Medan Islamic Madrasah Foundation. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a negative relationship between parenting styles and academic procrastination of students in the Medan Islamic Madrasah Foundation. This research is a quantitative correlational study. The sample in this study amounted to 70 students who were in the Medan Islamic Madrasah Foundation. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. The data collection method used was the parenting scale and the academic procrastination scale. The data analysis method used is correlation analysis of r product moment, with a value of F = 23.346 with a significance of p = 0.000 <0.05. Parenting style contributed to academic procrastination by r ^ 2 = 0.281 (28.1%). The parenting patterns of students' parents in Medan Islamic madrasah foundation are low, known from the hypothetical mean (70)> the empirical mean (62.43) and high academic procrastination is known by the hypothetical mean (70) <empirical mean (79.53).
