Implementasi Qanun Nomor 11 Tahun Tahun 2002 Tentang Syariat Islam di Kota Langsa

Abstract

This research was conducted in Langsa City with the purpose of research to know Implementation of Qanun Number 11 Year 2002 in case application of Islamic Shariah in Langsa City. The selected informants are the implementers of the Syariat Islam Office of Langsa City, Shariah Court of Langsa City, and the MajelisPermusyawaratanUlama (MPU) of Kota Langsa. In this study the form or research method used is descriptive method with qualitative research that analyze descriptively data, facts, and information obtained during research in the field. The main sources of information are obtained from the informants as implementors of Implementation of Qanun Number 11 of 2002. Based on the results of the research, it is shown that: (1) it has the right standards and objectives because it contains clear content and context, (2) it has been implemented with optimal effectiveness, 3) the factors that become implementation constraints are: the level of public awareness is relatively low and the budget allocation is not maximized, but gradually can be overcome. From the results of this study can be concluded that Implementation Qanun Number 11 Year 2002 in general has run well but need to be evaluated for the future runs more optimal.
