dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini berjudul “Hubungan Komitmen Organisasi dan Regulasi Diri dengan Perilaku Cyberloafing Pegawai Tata Usaha di Universitas Medan Area”. Penelitian ini di tulis oleh DARNI TRISNAYANTI LASE, Program Megister Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Medan Area. Latar belakang penulisan penelitian ini bertitik tolak dari permasalahan yang ditemukan di tempat penelitian yaitu perilaku cyberloafing para pegawai tata usaha Universitas Medan Area. Kemudian penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Komitmen Organisasi dan Regulasi Diri dengan Perilaku Cyberloafing Pegawai Tata Usaha di Universitas Medan Area. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (Field Reaseacrh) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Medan Area dan subyek penelitian ini adalah pegawai tata usaha Universitas Medan Area. Data dikumpulkan melalui skala yang disusun peneliti dan disebarkan kepada subjek penelitian. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pegawai tata usaha yang berjumlah 60 orang. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik correlation berganda dengan bantuan SPSS 21 for windows. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa analisis (1) hubungan positif komitmen organisasi dengan perilaku cyberloafing tata usaha di Universitas Medan Area. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa koefisien correlation = 0,418 dengan signifikansi 0,001. (2)Terdapat hubungan positif regulasi diri pegawai dengan perilaku cyberloafing tata usaha di Universitas Medan Area. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa koefisien correlation = 0.389, dengan signifikansi 0,002. (3)Terdapat hubungan positif komitmen organisasi dan regulasi diri pegawai dengan perilaku cyberloafing tata usaha di Universitas Medan Area. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa koefisien correlation = 0,522 atau variabel bebas memiliki kontribusi dengan variabel terikat sebesar 27,24, dengan signifikansi 0,000. Berdasarkan data deskripsi penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa untuk skala komitmen organisasi, memiliki mean empiris sebesar 51,07 lebih tinggi dari hipotetiknya sebesar 50. Pada variabel regulasi diri data deskripsi penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa untuk skala regulasi diri, memiliki mean empiris sebesar 67,32 lebih tinggi dari hipotetiknya sebesar 67,5. Sementara untuk variabel terikat yaitu perilaku cyberloafing data deskripsi penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa untuk skala cyberloafing, memiliki mean empiris sebesar 79,40 lebih tinggi dari hipotetiknya sebesar 70. This study entitled “The Relationship between Organizational Commitment and Self-Regulation with Cyberloafing Behavior of Administrative Employees at the University of Medan Area”. This research was written by DARNI TRISNAYANTI LASE, Megister Program, Faculty of Psychology, Medan Area University. The basic of the writing of this research is based on the problems found in the research site, namely the cyberloafing behavior of administrative staff at the University of Medan Area. Then this study aims to determine the Relationship between Organizational Commitment and Self-Regulation with Cyberloafing Behavior of Administrative Staff at the University of Medan Area. This research is a field research with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at the University of Medan Area and the subjects of this study were administrative staff of the Medan Area University. Data were collected through a scale compiled by researchers and distributed to research subjects. The subjects of this study were 60 administrative staff. The data were then analyzed using multiple correlation techniques with the help of SPSS 21 for windows. From the results of this study, the results showed that the analysis (1) a positive relationship between organizational commitment and cyberloafing behavior in the University of Medan Area. The results of the study using data analysis showed that the correlation coefficient = 0.418 with a significance of 0.001. (2) There is a positive relationship between employee self-regulation and cyberloafing behavior in the Medan Area University. The results of the study using data analysis showed that the correlation coefficient = 0.389, with a significance of 0.002. (3) There is a positive relationship between organizational commitment and employee self-regulation with administrative cyberloafing behavior at the University of Medan Area. The results of the study using data analysis showed that the correlation coefficient = 0.522 or the independent variable had a contribution to the dependent variable of 27.24, with a significance of 0.000. Based on the research description data, it can be seen that for the scale of organizational commitment, it has an empirical mean of 51.07 which is higher than the hypothetical value of 50. In the self-regulation variable, the research description data can be seen that for the self-regulation scale, it has an empirical mean of 67.32 which is higher. from the hypothetical of 67.5. Meanwhile, for the dependent variable, namely cyberloafing behavior, the research description data can be seen that for the cyberloafing scale, it has an empirical mean of 79.40 which is higher than the hypothetical value of 70.
