Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun kompor biomassa bahan bakar biopelet serta menganalisa unjuk kompor. Manfaat penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan limbah biomassa yang dapat di daur ulang menjadi bahan bakar berupa biopelet dan penggunaan kompor biomassa sebagai energi alternatif. Metode yang digunakan baik untuk menguji tungku briket hasil rancangan dan tungku briket lainnya adalah Water Boiling Test (WBT), parameter input yang diperoleh dari perancangan adalahefisiensi kompor (ηt).Bentuk kompor yang dibuat dalam perancangan ini adalah berbentuk silinder yang dilengkapi dengan ruang pembakaran, kipas, dan ruang penampungan abu sisa pembakaran. Dari hasil perancangan kompor diperoleh hasil perhitungan Efisiensi Termal (Ŋ)50/50=60,10%, 60/40 = 49,94%, 70/30 =48,31%. This study aimed to design and create a biomass stove of bio pellets fuel and to analyze the stove's performance. The benefits of this research can increase public awareness of the biomass waste use that can be recycled into fuel in the form of bio pellets and biomass stoves usage as alternative energy.The method used both to test the designed briquette stove and other briquette furnaces was the Water Boiling Test (WBT); the input parameter obtained from the design was stove efficiency (ηt). The stove form made in this design was in a cylinder form equipped with a combustion chamber, a fan, and an ash storage chamber of combustion residue. From the stove design results, the calculation results obtained Thermal Efficiency (Ŋ) 50/50 = 60.10%, 60/40 49.94%, 70/30 - 48.31%. |
