Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan optimisime dan produktivitas kerja dengan adversity quotient pegawai kantor dinas pendidikan kabupaten toba. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah adanya hubungan optimisme dan produktivitas kerja terhadap adversity quotient pegawai kantor dinas pendidikan kabupaten toba. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 65 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah dengan menggunakan total sampling. Metode pengambilan data adalah skala likert optimisme,produktivitas kerja dan adversity quotient. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis linier regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah : a) Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara optimisme dengan adversity quotient , dengan koefisien korelasi rx1y = 0,335. b) ada hubungan produktivitas kerja dengan adversity quotient dengan koefisien korelasi rx2y 0,436. c) ada hubungan optimisme dan produktivitas kerja dengan adversity quotient dengan koefisien korelasi rx1x2y= 0,536. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitin ini dinyatakan diterima. This study aims to determine the relationship between optimism and work productivity with the adversity quotient for the Toba district office employees. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a relationship between optimism and work productivity on the adversity quotient for the Toba district office employees. The sample in this study amounted to 65 people. The sampling technique is using total sampling. Data collection methods are Likert scale optimism, work productivity and adversity quotient. Data analysis using multiple regression linear analysis model. The results of this study are: a) There is a significant relationship between optimism and adversity quotient. with a correlation coefficient of rx1y = 0.335. b) there is a relationship between work productivity and adversity quotient with a correlation coefficient of rx2y 0.436. c) there is a relationship between optimism and work productivity with adversity quotient with a correlation coefficient of rx1x2y = 0.536. Based on these results, the hypothesis proposed in this research is accepted.
