dc.description.abstractKendaraan umum saat ini bisa menggunakan beberapa pilihan jenis bahan bakar antara lain Premium dan Pertamax. Masing-masing jenis bahan bakar tersebut memiliki angka oktan yang berbeda. Unjuk kerja motor banyak dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, di antaranya jenis bahan bakar, penyalaan busi dan konsumsi udara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan engine conditioner terhadap unjuk kerja motor bensin empat langkah kapasitas 1500 cc. Pada pengujian ini penulis mengujii daya, torsi, dan konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik. Motor yang diuji oleh penulis adalah motor bensin dengan kapasitas 1500 cc dengan menggunakan alat dynotest yang terhubung dengan komputer. Selanjutnya komputer akan membaca dan mencatat grafik daya dan torsi dari putaran 1500 rpm hingga 6000rpm sebelum penggunaan engine conditioner dan sesudah penggunaan engine conditioner. Sedangkan konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik dihitung berdasarkan waktu yang diperlukan dalam menghabiskan setiap bahan bakar yang di uji. Penelitian ini dilakukan di bengkel “Steve Garage Dynotuning Pekan Baru”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan daya maksimum dicapai sesudah penggunaan engine conditioner yaitu 123 hp = 91721,1 Watt; (perubahan daya mencapai 1,7 %), torsi meningkat menjadi 146 Nm (perubahan torsi mencapai 1,7%), dan bahan bakar untuk 1 Liter mendapat jarak tempuh 10,5 km (perubahan konsumsi bahan bakar mencapai 1,71%). Today's public vehicles can use several choices of fuel types, including Premium and Pertamax. Each type of fuel has a different octane number. Motorcycle performance is influenced by several factors, including the type of fuel, spark plug ignition and air consumption. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using an engine conditioner on the performance of a four stroke gasoline motorbike with a capacity of 1500 cc. In this test, the authors tested the specific power, torque and fuel consumption. The motor tested by the author is a gasoline motor with a capacity of 1500 cc using a dynotest tool connected to a computer. Furthermore, the computer will read and record power and torque graphs from 1500 rpm to 6000rpm before using the engine conditioner and after using the engine conditioner. Meanwhile, the specific fuel consumption is calculated based on the time it takes to spend each fuel tested. This research was conducted at the workshop "Steve Garage Dynotuning Pekan Baru". The results showed that the maximum power achieved after using the engine conditioner was 123 hp = 91721.1 Watt; (change in power reaches 1.7%), torque increases to 146 Nm (change in torque reaches 1.7%), and fuel for 1 liter gets a distance of 10.5 km (change in fuel consumption reaches 1.71%).en_US
